The Division of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) partners with 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÆØÁÏ to promote safety services that support the clinical, teaching, and research missions on campus.
We are responsible for a campus-wide effort to ensure 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÆØÁÏ complies with local, state, and federal health and safety rules and regulations to provide a safe environment for work, study, research, and patient care. Environmental Health & Safety responds to emergencies on the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÆØÁÏ campus involving hazardous chemical, biological and radioactive materials, fires, and threats to the environment. If there is a workplace injury, EHS needs to be notified. To report an emergency during normal business hours call: 706-721-2663.

Workplace injuries can happen at any time. The key to handling these incidents is to remain calm, assess the situation, and not put yourself in danger.
