The Event's Guest Speaker: Dr. Bill Cutrer, MD

Dr. Stephen Chew


Dr. Cutrer currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Critical Care Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and works clinically in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. He is the Director of Learning Communities, the longitudinal component of Curriculum 2.0 that focuses on student development as professionals, including Ethics, Clinical Reasoning, Metacognition, Leadership and others. Additionally, he co-directs the Immersion Phase of Curriculum 2.0 medical student journey. Dr. Cutrer's academic interests include deliberate practice, clinical reasoning, and helping students become expert learners.
