Nikhil Patel, MD

Dr. Nikhil Patel will be giving a presentation on Wednesday, December 4th at noon in the Conference Room (BF103).

Dr. Patel completed his medical school in India at Pune University, after which he pursued residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at University of Florida, Jacksonville followed by 2 board certified fellowships at East Carolina University, North Carolina – in cytopathology and Baylor college of Medicine, Houston, TX  – in Hematopathology. He is currently the director of Cytopathology services here at AU and recently elected to serve on the cytopathology committee at ASCP for a 2 year term. Additionally, he recently received the faculty recognition award for 2019, and is actively collaborating in funded research grants.
