Dr. Pawel Kozak is a Lecturer in Music at 51吃瓜黑料曝料, where he directs the AU orchestra and teaches applied viola, music literature, and ear training. Prior to his appointment at AU Kozak taught violin and viola at Lander University and at the Presbyterian College.

Dr. Kozak received his D.M.A. from The University of Georgia, where he studied violin with Professor Levon Ambartsumian and viola with Dr. Mark Neumann. His dissertation, 鈥淧edagogical Examination of Henryk Wieniawski鈥檚 L鈥櫭塩ole Moderne Opus 10,鈥� presents specific challenges found in these caprices and demonstrates how each difficulty can be resolved through proper practice techniques.

Dr. Kozak is the principal second violinist and personnel manager with the 51吃瓜黑料曝料 Symphony, and performs regularly as a member of Lyra Vivace Chamber Orchestra and the South Carolina Philharmonic. He can be heard as a section violinist in ARCO Chamber Orchestra鈥檚 numerous recordings and as a soloist in Vivaldi鈥檚 concerto for four violins.
