eSirius Authorization

eSirius user access must be authorized by a PI using the online Access Request.

Access eSirius

On Campus

From a campus computer (wired or over the AU-Secure wireless network):

  1. Navigate to using a current version of Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. eSirius is not compatible with Internet Explorer.
  2. Log in to eSirius 3G using your AU Credentials.

Off Campus

Duo authentication is required for off campus access. If you have not registered for Duo, see the instructions below.

  1. Navigate to using a current version of Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. eSirius is not compatible with Internet Explorer.
  2. Log in to Citrix2 using your AU Credentials.
  3. Authenticate your login with Duo. If you do not receive a notification, open the Duo app to authorize the login.
    • If prompted, click Detect Receiver.
    • Wait a few seconds. If you get a pop-up, click Launch Application.
    • Otherwise, click Already Installed.
  4. Click the eSirius 3G icon.
    • If you receive an error message, click OK and close the Citrix window. You will need to update your Citrix Receiver Client first. See the steps below.
  5. Click to launch the .ica file from the bottom of the browser once it has downloaded. If you are prompted to "Look for an app in Microsoft store," close the message. You will need to update your Citrix Receiver Client first. See the steps below.
  6. Log in to eSirius 3G using your AU Credentials.

Register for Duo

Duo authentication is required for off campus access.

If you have not registered for Duo, follow .

After this one-time setup, you will be prompted to authenticate with Duo each time you login. ()

Update Citrix Receiver Client

Uninstall

  1. Navigate to and click to download the Citrix Receiver Clean-Up Utility.
  2. Once it has downloaded, click to run ReceiverCleanupUtility.exe.
  3. Click Yes on the security pop-up.
  4. Close all web browsers.
  5. Click in the ReceiverCleanupUtility.exe window and press any key.
  6. When complete, type n and enter, Then any key to exit.

Install/ Reinstall

  1. Navigate to and click to download the latest version of the Citrix Receiver for your operating system. 
  2. Once it is downloaded, click the CitrixReceiver file to run it. Be patient. It may take a while to display any progress, and then appear to stall. Just wait…
  3. Click Finish (NOT Add Account) when complete.
  4. Return to the Access eSirius - Off Campus via Citrix2 instructions.
