We offer proctor services for distant learning and independent study students. Students are required to have proper photo identification when reporting to take their tests. Failure to present an ID will result in the student not being allowed to take their tests. Also, students should report at their scheduled test time.

We reserve the right to have students who arrive after their scheduled test time to reschedule for another day.

Please see the following information regarding fees for services, policies regarding scheduling exams and proctor information.

Proctor Fees

• Test Center Proctoring Fee: $15.00 per hour
  • When test-takers contact the Testing Center to schedule a testing session, they are informed of any applicable fees for their appointment. All test fees are non-refundable and must be paid in full prior to the scheduled testing session.
  • Payment must be in the form of cash, check, or credit/debit card
  • Fees are waived for currently enrolled 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÆØÁÏ students and 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÆØÁÏ faculty and staff with proof of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÆØÁÏ ID and email. 

Policies regarding scheduling exams

• Students taking paper/pencil based tests are required to schedule their tests four days in advance of the test date.
• Students taking computer-based tests are required to schedule their tests three days in advance of the test date.
• To schedule an appointment, please email Testing and Disability Services the following information:
  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • What institution or agency you are taking this exam for?
  • Course name and section
  • Exam time allotted
  • 3 days of availability

Off Campus Test Proctoring for Distance Learners

For any 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÆØÁÏ student that is taking an on-line or distance class and needs to have a test proctored, please review the procedures and have the appropriate form completed and returned to our office.

Parking

For Summerville, there is a ParkMobile $10 daily rate for Lot 105/Zone 9927. There is a $4 daily option at Lot 108/Zone 9923. Lots 105/108 are pretty similar in the walk to Galloway Hall. Testers can download the ParkMobile app or visit  and search for 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÆØÁÏ Summerville. Make sure to pay for parking or you could encounter a ticket. TDS will not be responsible for parking tickets.
