The Center for Writing Excellence invites you to an informal, practical Dissertation Writing Retreat that will give you space and time to take the next steps in your thesis, dissertation, or capstone project, no matter what stage you鈥檙e at in your process. Over the course of 4 mornings, you鈥檒l have time to write and a chance to share your drafting and plans with other group members. In addition, the Center for Writing Excellence professional staff will provide guidance on goal setting, avoiding procrastination, and communicating with advisors, among other things. There will be several writing consultants on hand for you to talk with one-to-one, if desired, about any part of your project. You鈥檒l also be provided with a coffee and refreshments each day.
