REGISTRATION & WAITLISTS: THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE

COURSE DESCRIPTION & PREREQUISITES

This is a hands on training for users who have reviewed the waitlisting documentation available on the Registrar website and still have questions about how to help students manage their registration waitlist.  This session will show how students navigate registration for waitlist, the communication they receive when a course becomes available to them, and what happens to a student when they do not respond during the 24 hour period.  While this session will show some elements of how waitlists are established for courses, the focus on this training is on providing useful information to help students navigate waitlisting during registration.

SECTION SCHEDULING: COURSE SCHEDULING BANNER ACCESS

COURSE DESCRIPTION & PREREQUISITES

This is a high level overview of the Registrar鈥檚 webpage highlighting resources needed to complete and update schedules. This training is specifically for new Scheduling Coordinator in order for them to get familiar with locating resources on the Registrar鈥檚 page and the UCRN process. This training is available on Thursdays by request. Email classes@augusta.edu to schedule this training.

SECTION SCHEDULING: BANNER SECTION UPDATING TRAINING - NEW SCHEDULING COORDINATORS

COURSE DESCRIPTION & PREREQUISITES

These workshops are available during the course scheduling period for all Scheduling Coordinators to meet in a computer lab to work on their schedules. Members of the Registrar鈥檚 office will be on-site to assist with schedule processing and questions. Bring a copy of your schedules. No RSVP is required on these days.

SECTION SCHEDULING: HOW WHAT YOU ENTER IN BANNER IMPACTS CLASSROOM SCHEDULING

COURSE DESCRIPTION & PREREQUISITES

This training is hands on and will require prior Banner experience and knowledge of the scheduling process. Members of the Registrar's Office will be available to assist with schedule entry and to answer any questions regarding the scheduling process. COURSE DESCRIPTION & PREREQUISITES

This training is hands on and will require general knowledge of the scheduling process.  Advanced topics of parts of term, course attributes, cross listing/cross leveling, reserved seating, restrictions, and waitlisting will be covered. NAVIGATING CURRICULOG

This is a hands-on training for new and current Curriculog users on how to navigate Curriculog. This training will cover where to find Curriculog resources, how to manage the proposals that are currently awaiting review and approval, the structure of a proposal and how to use the website鈥檚 resources.  Sessions may be scheduled as needed by emailing curriculog@augusta.edu.

This webinar is intended for Curriculum End Users.  This webinar is offered by Modern Campus, the vendor for Curriculum, and you MUST to attend.

HOW TO APPLY YOUR STUDENTS FOR GRADUATION & WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER THEY APPLY

This is an informative training for personnel who assist students with the graduation application process for their departments. The session will show requirements for the graduation application, provide a list and examples of all communications the students and departments receive regarding graduation, explain the commencement program process for student listings, and provide an overview of what happens once the degree is conferred.

COURSE DESCRIPTION & PREREQUISITES

This training will review the policies, processes, forms, and resources available to you for successfully completing attendance verification, grading and withdrawals. Participants will also log in to POUNCE during the meeting. Course content is intended to enhance faculty understanding of these processes and is appropriate for those new to BANNER or 51吃瓜黑料曝料 as well as to those more experienced faculty who just need a refresher in one or all of these areas.

Course content is intended to assist new or existing department chairs with information on how to ensure faculty are successfully completing these processes for your department.
