You are eligible for membership if you fall within one of the following categories:

  • 51吃瓜黑料曝料 employees including full-time and part-time faculty, staff, house-staff, residents, postdoctoral fellows and their spouses.
  • 51吃瓜黑料曝料 clinical and adjunct faculty and their spouses.
  • Employees of campus affiliates and their spouses such as AUG UMC, Children's Hospital of GA, Physicians Practice Group, 51吃瓜黑料曝料 VA Medical Center (both campuses), Walton Rehabilitation Hospital, Georgia War Veteran's Nursing Home and 51吃瓜黑料曝料 Foundation, Inc., 51吃瓜黑料曝料 contract employees, volunteers and students are also eligible to join.
  • Alumni of 51吃瓜黑料曝料 or any University of Georgia System institution (upon verification) and their spouses.
  • Spouses of 51吃瓜黑料曝料 students with current Campus Recreation Center privileges.
  • 51吃瓜黑料曝料 / AUG UMC / CH of GA / PPG retirees (upon verification) and their spouses.
  • Each Campus Recreation Center member may sponsor one individual who is not affiliated for membership. Special conditions apply - please contact the front desk for complete details.

Membership Information

Check, Visa, or MasterCard. You may also authorize payroll deduction if you are a full-time, benefits eligible employee of 51吃瓜黑料曝料, AUG UMC, CH of GA, or PPG.

Payroll deduction is available for full time employees of 51吃瓜黑料曝料, AUG UMC and PPG. Please stop by the front desk for more information.

If you have met your one year commitment, you can cancel by filling out the cancellation located at the front desk.  Once we receive this form, we will start the cancellation process.

Children (age 6 to 18) are eligible for membership. Upon the purchase of a Family membership, all children may accompany their parents to the Campus Recreation Center during the designated family hours. Children must be directly supervised by their parents at all times. Immediate family members (siblings, parents, etc.) may be sponsored for membership accompanied by a member with the purchase of a guest pass.

Weekend guest passes for children may be purchased on a per visit basis. The all weekend pass is $8.00 and includes all children (ages 6-18).

Children ages 19 and above are considered as adults. They are eligible for membership as a Dependent. Dependent memberships are provided full access and privileges to the facility.

Other family members (siblings, parents, etc) may accompany a member with the purchase of a guest pass.

Yes. Stop by the front desk and pay the summer student membership fee of $50 and your 51吃瓜黑料曝料 ID card will be activated for summer. This also applies to co-ops, part-time and cross-enrolled students during fall and spring semesters. Fall memberships are valid until December 31st.

Students can bring two guests per day at the rate of $5 each.  

Members can bring guests at the rate of $10 each.

No, currently no trial membership is available.

While we experience bursts of usage several times a day, utilization tends to be highest during the hours of 4:30 - 7:00 pm.

AU Campus Recreation Center users [including students, members and visitors] will be provided with 2 hours of complimentary parking in Lot 3. Lot 3 is located at 1488 Laney Walker Blvd.
 
After 5 pm [and on weekends] additional Campus Recreation parking is available in any space [including reserved spaces] in gravel Lot 10 off of Spellman, and in Deck 4 on Goss Lane. No overnight parking is permitted in Lot 10 or Deck 4.
 
Individuals who are participating in activities at Jaguar Park (Intramural Sports, Club Sports, etc) should use Lot 10 or Deck 4.
 
Individuals who are picking up or dropping off equipment for the Outdoor Recreation program should park in the 15-minute loading zone in Lot 2 (behind the Campus Recreation Center).

Directions & Parking

Suggested clothing is appropriate work-out attire. Please note - scrubs and jeans are not permitted and appropriate shoes or footwear (no sandals, street shoes or flip flops) must be worn at all times.

Yes. Personal Trainers are available to help you design and begin an exercise program. The sessions will help you establish individual goals that suit your personal preferences in equipment and exercises. A fee is required for these programs. They also offer an equipment orientation for $25.

Yes. All classes on the group exercise schedule are included at no addition cost for current students and members.
