Outdoor Recreation opens new climbing tower, challenge course聽
鈥淥ur main goal is to provide students, staff and community members with unique and exciting experiences that challenge them,鈥� says Bear Welmaker.
The Campus Recreation Center (CRC) is open to 51吃瓜黑料曝料 students, employees, alumni and retirees, as well as employees of campus affiliates and other University System of Georgia institution employees.
The CRC provides a wide variety of equipment and workout areas, including fitness rooms, basketball courts, and a running track. You can do your own workout on your own schedule, or if interested, sign up for personal training with one of our fitness professionals. Whatever your choice, the goal is the same - increased overall health for a better quality of life.

Members must present their Campus Recreation Center ID to enter the facility.
Parking for Patrons
, located next to the CRC, will now be free for the first 30 minutes. Patrons may bring their parking ticket to the front desk at the end of their workout for validation (up to 2 hours).
We are proud of our beautiful state-of-the-art workout facility. Having a fitness center on campus makes it easy to find time to exercise and socialize.
Campus Recreation Center (CRC): CRC Members are provided 2 hours of complimentary parking in Lot 3 located at 1488 Laney Walker Blvd. After 5 pm and on weekends additional CRC parking is available in any space (including reserved spaces) in parking Lot 3 and in Goss Lane Parking Deck 4. Please note, overnight parking is NOT permitted in Deck 4.
Jaguar Park: Individuals who are participating in activities at Jaguar Park (intramural sports, club sports, etc) should park in Lot 3 or Deck 4.
Outdoor recreational equipment loading and unloading: Individuals who are picking up or dropping off rented outdoor equipment should park in the 15-minute loading ramp in front of the Student Center in parking Lot 3.
The parking lots and decks referenced are operated by AU Parking & Transportation.

After graduation, Maddy Frediani plans to move to New York to coach at the John McEnroe Tennis Academy before returning to AU for graduate school.
